Reporting 90% growth in its publisher network over the past year, to 2,200 Web sites, in-text ad provider Vibrant Media has hired Brian White, formerly director of strategic media development at
ValueClick, as vice president, business development.
White's responsibilities include identifying and securing partnerships with leading publishers, managing the team that oversees the negotiation
and delivery of Vibrant's in-text ad campaigns, and collaborating with Vibrant's product development team to roll out new features.
Vibrant Media said it currently reaches 82 million unique users
worldwide, including 50 million in the U.S. It delivers targeted ads when a user mouses-over double-underlined words within Web text.
