RadioShack Corp. will sell Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. units at its 7,000 stores nationwide beginning this summer, the companies said Thursday. The deal, along with EchoStar Communications Corp.'s
announcement that Dish Network would make Sirius broadcasts available to a majority of its 9 million customer base, caused Sirius to raise its projections for customers. Sirius predicts it will
have 1 million subscribers by the end of 2004, compared to previously announced projections of 860,000 by that time. In January, it had 261,000 compared to its larger competitor, XM Satellite Radio
Holdings Inc., which had 1.36 million. The three companies also announced that a joint advertising plan but details weren't disclosed.
