Former AOL exec David Lebow has been named president and chief executive officer of Internet Broadcasting, whose network of TV station Web sites includes some of the largest broadcast group owners.
Lebow, who was previously executive vice president and general manager of AOL Media Networks, will start at Internet Broadcasting on July 2. He replaces Reid Johnson, who the
company said will stay on as "founder."
Reid Johnson, who formed the company in 1996 and had been CEO and President, will remain with the company as Founder.
Internet Broadcasting's partners
include NBC, Hearst-Argyle Television, Post-Newsweek Stations, McGraw-Hill Broadcasting, Cox Television, Meredith Broadcasting and CNN.
