Slate's video site, Slate V, officially launched yesterday, complete with Nissan's Infiniti as exclusive 10-month sponsor. The deal, through Omnicom's OMD, includes rich media banner ads that allow
users to click for a downloaded brochure, as well as pre-rolls.
The Washington Post Newsweek Interactive property also hired Bill Smee, most recently with Discovery Times Channel, as executive
producer of Slate V.
