MediaPost, June 26, has announced a definitive agreement for $7.5 million in equity financing from
four institutional investors. Wizzard, whose stock is now sold over-the-counter, hopes to soon qualify for a listing on a national exchange.
Wizzard entering the market less than one year ago
by acquiring three podcast hosting and monetization networks. It reported 85 million network-wide download requests for podcasts in May, up from 42 million in October.
