Atari Moves Online with Dragon Ball Z for Wii

  • July 12, 2007
Nintendo Wii players thirsting for online anime battles will thank Atari this holiday season, as the game publisher announced that Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 will have online multiplayer capabilities.

"Adding online game play for the Wii will finally deliver on a feature that the fans have been waiting for," said Emily Anadu, senior product manager, Atari.

This third installment of the game will improve the lightning-fast fighting style that made its predecessor last year's top-selling fighting game in the U.S., in addition to capitalizing on the novelty of the Wii's active-engagement controller.
