  • July 13, 2007
Karin Marke, formerly vice president of sales at Fox Interactive's MySpace, where she headed Western sales, has joined women's-focused Glam Media with the same title and role.

The news came as Glam released comScore Media Metrix audience numbers for June, showing its properties with 19.1 million unique U.S. visitors, up from 17.3 million in May--and pulling the upstart further ahead of its main competitive target, NBC Universal's iVillage, which it noted dipped from 17.1 million 15.5 million month-to-month.

Before joining MySpace, Marke had worked at FastChannel Network and Terra Lycos. Her experience in the women's space includes stints at Sam & Libby, The Cricket Company and Hearst Magazines.
