Fox Taps Rapt Platform

Fox Interactive Media has partnered with Rapt to license the software company's media monetization platform across FIM's online properties, including MySpace. Under the agreement, the privately held Rapt will also provide consultancy services to support all of FIM's U.S. ad sales operations. Rapt's applications are employed by a number of Internet heavyweights, including Yahoo, Microsoft, NBC Universal, and Dow Jones & Company, among others. The two companies commenced the work associated with Thursday's announced agreement in April 2007.
