Media Account Turnover Down 32% From August

Denver-based Media Analysis Plus says 13 advertisers shifted a combined $890 million in domestic media accounts in September, a 32% decline from the dollar value of media account turnover in August, according to the MAP Barometer. In August, 14 advertisers shifted a combined $1.3 billion in domestic media accounts. Year-to-date through September, there have been $7.9 billion worth of media account changes. Jim Surmanek, Chief Executive Officer of MediaAnalysisPlus, said the year’s total account changes could top $10 billion.
