Joan Rivers Kicks Off Comcast On Demand Service

A Philadelphia family received a visit from comedian Joan Rivers and a living room makeover sponsored by E! Entertainment and QVC in a prize marking the launch of Comcast Cable’s On Demand service. On Demand gives viewers the ability to access movies and programming anytime they want without leaving the living room. Shows can be instantly paused, rewound and fast-forwarded via the customer’s digital cable remote control. Some programs can be stored for up to 24 hours for repeat viewing. It’s now available to 2.5 million customers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. There are hundreds of movies available plus free content.
