Private equity firm Veronis Suhler Stevenson has agreed to acquire TRANZACT, a fast-growing provider of customer acquisition marketing services, for $185 million in cash. VSS acquired TRANZACT from
Halyard Capital, and said it would back the existing management team led by Marc Byron, chairman, and David Graf, president-CEO, both of whom remain major shareholders.
