New, Improved AP Introduced

The Associated Press, the 161-year-old news cooperative, is adapting to 21st-century demands. In a plan dubbed AP 2.0, it will change the way it files, edits and distributes stories. It will also open four regional editing outposts and expand its multimedia packages. The AP says it will create Digital Cooperative, an all-digital platform.
