Crown Media's net revenue in the third quarter of 2002 increased 52% to $40.1 million, from $26.3 million last year. Advertising revenues for the quarter totaled $18.2 million, an increase of 103%
from the third quarter of 2001. Hallmark Channel subscribers increased 15% to 95.7 million worldwide as of September 30, 2002, from 82.9 million subscribers last year. The Channel ended the quarter
with 47.5 million subscribers in the United States and 48.2 million international subscribers across 110 countries. The Hallmark Channel in the U.S. has achieved significant growth in terms of
viewership during 2002. For the twelve months ended September 30, 2002, the Hallmark Channel was the fastest growing cable network in the U.S. based on subscribers.
