Major League Baseball Says 'No' To Adware

MLB Advanced Media, LP, the interactive media company for Major League Baseball, on Wednesday said that it will bar potential partners from using adware (which it called "spyware" in a statement) to distribute commercial messages with MLB.com. The company said in a statement that the action is being taken to protect the company's website and its visitors. MLBAM has added specific anti-spyware language to its partnership agreements as a result of its decision to prohibit the use of adware.
