A really great post [from Steve Smith]. As someone who's moderated many panels myself, and written so many critiques of panels I can't remember, I've never seen anyone describe how a moderator should
do his or her job quite as well as this!
If only others would take your advice to heart, we conference attendees and reporters would not have to sit through *so damn many really bad panels.*
