TiVo and Circuit City have reached an agreement that will ensure that all the company’s PVR products are available at the mass consumer electronics retailer for the holiday season. TiVo is offering
for a limited time a $50 mail-in rebate on all TiVo Series2 stand-alone units purchased at Circuit City and other retail outlets. All stand-alone units purchased by December 31, 2002 are eligible for
the mail-in rebate. The TiVo service can be purchased for a one-time additional fee of $249, or for a monthly fee of $12.95.
