Philip Charles-Pierre is the new head of Guideposts Digital Media, the company announced Tuesday.
Guideposts is a media company focused on inspirational magazines, book
publications, Web sites and outreach programs. Charles-Pierre has been named vice president, and his responsibilities will include providing strategic vision and direction on all digital activities in
the organization. He will be based at Guideposts headquarters in Carmel, New York.
Prior to joining Guideposts, Charles-Pierre was director, interactive marketing-SPG at Starwood Hotels and
Resorts--whose brands include Sheraton, Westin, St. Regis, Le Meridian and W Hotels. During his tenure, he led a team that managed the online presence for the hotel's loyalty program, Starwood
Preferred Guest, including the redesign of the SPG.com site. For six years previous to working at Starwood, Philip was director, partner management and services for Travelocity.com.
