Nearly 45% of voters expect the next U.S. president to be Internet savvy, according to a new poll conducted by Zogby International on behalf of the Congressional Internet Caucus Advisory Committee in
advance of its annual policy conference in Washington.
Neary half of those polled cited the Internet as their primary source of information about the presidential candidates. Only
31% and 13% cited television and radio, respectively, as the primary source.
Zogby also found that concerns over voter fraud doomed prospects for Internet voting, with 67.2% saying it was a bad
idea.
