FindWhat.com, a developer and provider of performance-based marketing and online commerce services on Thursday announced the closing of its merger with Espotting Media, the London-based provider of paid listings. Ft Myers, Fla.-based FindWhat also announced the promotions of Phillip R. Thune to the position of president/chief operating officer, and Brenda Agius to chief financial officer. Thune served as the company's chief operating officer since November 2000, and as chief financial officer from April 2000 through June 2004. Agius was FindWhat's SVP of finance; she was VP of finance from April 2002 to February 2004.

The merger will allow FindWhat to offer paid listings services to a variety of vertical sectors on three continents, according to a statement by FindWhat. The Epotting Network forms one of four divisions for FindWhat.com, which also acquired Miva and Comet Systems during the first six months of 2004. FindWhat estimates 2004 revenues at $167-$179 million.
