Entertainment Web video company Heavy.com has announced a new round of hires. Anthony Katsur, former engineering vice president at DoubleClick, has been appointed chief operating officer of Heavy.com's Husky ad network.

Tommy Pizzo, former East Coast sales manager for MySpace, has been named Heavy's new "senior territory manager" of East Coast sales. Robert Koshar, former director of media operations for WebMD, has been appointed vice president of ad operations or Heavy. Tony Biel, former director of advertising sales for Veoh.com, has been named a director of sales for the Western Region.

Doug Schirle, former regional vice presidents of PureVideo Networks, has also been named a director of sales for the Western Region. Lindsey Klein also joins Heavy from PureVideo Networks, where she held the position of regional vice president, leading product development and strategy. Klein will now serve as a director of sales for the Eastern Region.
