MySpace has appointed Mitchell Kreuch vice president of East Coast sales.

Kreuch will oversee the development and implementation of sales initiatives and campaigns for MySpace's East Coast sales team. Based in New York City, Kreuch will report directly to Bryce Emo, senior vice president and head of sales for MySpace.

Prior to joining MySpace, Kreuch was the regional vice president of sales in Yahoo's New York office where he managed a team of 18 salespeople focused on selling advertising/marketing products to clients in the travel, entertainment, consumer electronics, telecom, retail and political categories. Prior to Yahoo, Mitchell was the vice president of sales operations at The Excite Network (now a part of Interactive Corp.)
