Popeyes Touts Its Bona Fides In Video Contest

Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits, a division of AFC Enterprises, has launched a consumer-generated video contest to coincide with announcement of its new brand position--that of being bona fide or having credentials.

The Popeyes "Are you bona fide?" video contest is open to all who want to share their unique talents at BonaFideChicken.com. Visitors can upload 30-second videos of themselves demonstrating what truly makes them bona fide. All submissions should begin with the phrase: "Hey, Popeyes! I'm bona fide ..."

The contestant who receives the most online votes by May 23 will receive the grand prize of free Popeyes food for a year; a three-day trip for two in New York, Miami, New Orleans, Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas or Vail, Colo., and Popeyes merchandise.
