Former supermodel Paulina Porizkova is the latest celebrity to make the move into Stardoll, the fashion-focused virtual world for tweens. Stardoll members can now create dolls with the '80s icon's
signature big hair and wild, colorful fashions. In addition, Porizkova has designed bathing suits and t-shirts that girls can purchase for their personalized avatars (or MeDolls).
Meanwhile, Los Angeles-based Stardoll has also launched a design creation application that lets members virtually stitch together their own outfits. "With the launch of StarDesign, we are bringing the
Stardoll community a unique opportunity to create their own fashion designs for the first time," said Stardoll CEO Mattias Miksche. "We fully expect to see some of our aspiring fashionistas hatch the
next big style trend with the power of StarDesign."
