Yahoo! is still the most trafficked Internet brand in the United States and is the leader in total time spent each month, according to Nielsen//NetRatings' MarketView report, issued April 1, 2002. In
addition, 18 of Yahoo!'s services or channels rank in the top three for their respective verticals for combined home and work usage, demonstrating the breadth of Yahoo!'s network. The
Nielsen//NetRatings MarketView report tracked web-based home and work usage for February 2002. In other Yahoo! news, LookSmart, a search targeted marketing company, has signed an agreement with Yahoo!
Australia & NZ, a wholly owned subsidiary of Yahoo! Inc., to provide its paid search listings in
Yahoo! Australia & NZ search results pages. The program, called
Yahoo! Sponsor Matches, began on April 2. LookSmart's wholly owned subsidiary, LookSmart Australia, will distribute its top three paid search listings submitted by its base of advertisers until at
least March 2003.
