EGM Delivers More Than Expected

The Ziff Davis Media Game Group's flagship publication Electronic Gaming Monthly delivered a paid-circulation increase over the rate base for the last four months of 2001, according to the new report from Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC). Circulation averaged 506,479 per issue from September through December 2001, making it the electronic gaming publication with the highest rate base and delivering more readers than was guaranteed to advertisers. Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine (OPM), the leading voice on PlayStation games and the lifestyle that embodies them, also had a banner year, declaring a total circulation of 357,689. Computer Gaming World, the monthly guide for PC game enthusiasts, reported a healthy year, with a circulation of 300,727.
