Old School Sales Pitches

I would love to understand how many people actually " sign-up" for these time shares after sitting "or sleeping" through these sales pitches. I'm also fascinated at the "offline - old school" sales process. I recently just purchased a car, and really could not believe the sales pitches I was hearing.

Thankfully for all the info online, I was able to walk into a dealership, write down the price I was willing to pay, and control the process rather than be controlled. FYI - I got kicked out of the first 2 dealerships telling me I was crazy,[but in] the third I was successful, got my car on my terms....

What does this all have to do with social media? We are all speaking about it. In fact, my buddy asked me the dealer I went to, and 3 days later he calls me to inform me that he bought a car from them. Folks, birds of a feather, flock together. In social media, this holds true.
