Politico.com this week has launched the first vertical ad network targeting well-educated, wealthy, and engaged political and government enthusiasts.
The network is being powered by
Adify and initial publishing partners include The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Denver Post and The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer.
The new ad network will
endeavor to help brand marketers extend their reach through partner sites and the Politico network.
According to Nielsen data cited by the publisher, Politico attracts more male readers 18-49,
more readers with an annual household income greater than $150,000, and more readers with post-graduate degrees than top business-focused Web sites like Forbes.com, WSJ.com and CNN/money.--Gavin
