Clear Blue Media, Inc. has unveiled a new network for branded publishers known as the Clear Blue Media 500 network. The network launched lat Friday with four channels - Careers, Technology/Computing,
ISP/Search Engine and Online Gaming - and 15 additional content channels are currently in development.
Phil Pennington, president and CEO of Clear Blue Media, said the Clear Blue Media 500
network was launched in direct response to clients' requests for additional online advertising opportunities on websites of all sizes. Initial publishers involved in the launch of the project include
MSN, USA Today, Businessweek, Fortune City, 4Anything, Sci-Fi.com, CareerBuilder, Rivals.com, and many others.
All of the websites involved in the Clear Blue Media 500 network will be featured on
the clearbluemedia.com website so buyers can see rates and availability before making their buy, and according to John Potts, EVP and Chief Marketing Officer for Clear Blue Media, "pricing for the new
network will vary based on the volume and frequency of the buy, but we are generally talking less than $9 CPM."
Availability for the September launch is estimated at a half-billion impressions
per month.
