Glam Media has promoted Scott Schiller to EVP of global marketing as part of the company's strategic reorganization to better align itself as the network that best delivers brand engagement for
display advertisers.
In the newly created position, Schiller will be responsible for the Glam Media brand worldwide and will report directly to CEO Samir Arora.
Prior to joining
Glam Media, Schiller had more than 20 years of advertising, sales management and start-up media experience with some of the most esteemed names in entertainment, including Disney, AOL, Sony, Prodigy
and MTV. Schiller is a founding member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau, and its first vice chairman. His agency and marketing experience includes several years in brand management for PepsiCo,
Nestle and at Grey Advertising.
Glam has also realigned its sales organization. John Trimble, formerly SVP of Fox Interactive and EVP of new markets, North America sales for Glam, will take an
expanded role leading the newly created brand advertising sales team for entertainment and the recently launched GlamTV.
Joe Lagani, former publisher of Conde Nast's House & Garden who
launched Glam Living, will broaden his role and become VP, brand sales for women for North America and also help recast Glam's flagship Style channel.
Glam sales VP Jack Rotolo, who previously
held sales roles with PepsiCo, Apple Computer and NetObjects, becomes VP of agency sales. In this role, Rotolo will be responsible for all digital agency relationships and sales.--Tanya Irwin
