"I'm too busy to tell people how busy I am"

This week I'd like to start a series on my favorite websites. Why should you care about my favorites? Because I'm extraordinarily picky about where and how I spend my leisure time. I spend vast amounts of time on the Internet doing research and writing papers, so any website that I would visit during my down time has got to have some pretty awesome features. After all, "I'm too busy to tell people how busy I am" (referenced from today's site...).

This weeks pick is someecards.com. Most of you will probably recognize the content from the Bumper Sticker feature of Facebook. This is a website full of nothing but the pastel cards with old fashioned ink drawings with hilarious and sometimes inappropriate captions. I was introduced to this site the other day at work and actually had a couple of tears roll down my cheeks because I was laughing so hard at some of the cubicle related jokes. Normally my leisure time at work is spent doing homework or filing folders, but I've found myself passing a few idle half-hours browsing through these e-cards.

Due to the fact that Bumper Stickers on Facebook can be very open jokes or something that only 2 people would understand, I love it that someecards span the complete spectrum. Even when I don't "get" one of them, it's still usually funny in its absurdity.

So even if I am "too busy to tell you how busy I am," if I have some down time during the day, my friends might find a couple of these e-cards in their mailboxes.

Next week: have novels e-mailed to you in installments!
