Interactive has definitely hit its stride during this campaign -- from Facebook to iPhone apps. I followed both the Presidential and Vice Presidential debates, not only on my TV but also on my phone
via Twitter. The comments and insights were as entertaining as the debates.
At least one of the candidates has really leveraged interactive and social media for their campaign. I recently installed
the free Obama '08 app on my iPhone. If you haven't seen it, check it out -- it's amazing, no matter whom you're voting for. It allows users to import their contact list, keep track of who they've
called to support their candidate, view video or read about all of the candidates' stances on the issues, track local events and watch video of all of the candidates' public appearances.
A truly
engaging app. I'd like to see more brands engage on this level.
