Targeted Audio Ads for MusicBooth

  • July 31, 2000
Interep, one of the largest independent sales and marketing company specializing in radio, the Internet and new media, and The MusicBooth LLC, holder of patents for audio advertising to Internet radio listeners, today jointly announced that Interep will sell targeted audio advertising for MusicBooth's AdAcoustics Network.

The AdAcoustics Network includes a suite of services including web site distribution and targeted audio advertising geared toward the growing number of radio stations that broadcast streaming programming over the Internet.

For example, a manufacturer of a trendy brand of sneakers could arrange for its advertising message to be delivered only to users who select music most likely enjoyed by teenagers.

Further, using the technology, the listener can interact with the advertiser without being required to leave their favorite Web site. So to pop up a small window for a 3D view of those sneakers, or to place an immediate order, the listener need only click a button and the relationship with the advertiser begins.

Launch of the service is expected within 45 days.
