Cost-Per-Action Ad Network Turns Unsold Inventory Into Transaction Revenue

Impower, Inc. today opened a new path to profitability for websites with the official launch of its TransAct! cost-per-action Internet ad network. The network is being launched with 30,000 affiliate sites, more than 100 marketing partners and an Impower ad server network with servers located at all major Internet backbones.

“There is a flow of online ad dollars to cost-per-action pricing from cost-per-thousand and cost-per-click; as well, there is a new current of traditional direct marketing advertisers who see the opportunity to acquire customers at an allowable acquisition cost,'' said Gloria Kohl, VP, TransAct! Network. “Sites of all sizes with unsold inventory can use TransAct! to easily wade into this revenue stream.”

Impower's ad server network delivers and tracks messages in newsletters, co-registrations, banners, buttons and links and can handle rich media format. Impower hosts TransAct!'s marketing partners' ad offer pages to provide a seamless experience from interest to immediate conversion. By the end of the year, the company plans to have available more than 1,000 customer acquisition offers each month. Network members can select those appropriate to their audiences. Members are paid when customers respond to offers.
