Planit Media (www.planitmedia.com), the Internet-based media research and planning system has today added data on newspapers, exhibitions, online advertising sites, outdoor advertising contacts from across Europe to its existing database of over 40,000 business and consumer global magazines.

Listing of newspapers, magazines, media and event details on the www.planitmedia.com is totally free of charge for publishing companies, web site owners and their sales houses, exhibition organisers, outdoor advertising companies. These "content providers" can enter the details of their products by submitting information online or via fax with frequent updating - which also is always free of charge - encouraged by Planit Media so that the system's users can always base their advertising selections on the most current data available.

A typical entry on Planit Media will include a photo of a recent front cover, masthead or screen grab of a website home page plus a 150 word descriptive listing. Details of the publishing or organising company, sales and editorial staff, circulation breakdown, rate cards, production contacts are among the other information also given for each entry.

Users can search the database by a variety of criteria, view entries, create reports, unify different rate currencies into a single, selected currency for ease of cost comparison. Users can also order media and information packs online which significantly shortens the planning cycle.
