'Hoy Nueva York,' 'Kansan' Stop Print, Online Only

Hoy Nueva York has stopped publishing its print edition and will move to an online-only publication. Just four of the newspaper's 20 staffers remain, reports AP. Hoy will continue to focus on local coverage, says publisher Rossana Rosado, who is CEO of El Diario/La Prensa in New York, part of ImpreMedia, which also publishes La Opinion in Los Angeles. Similarly, Gatehouse Media's Kansas City Kansan will cease its print version and move to Web-only. The Kansas newspaper was founded in 1921. The company said the move will help advertisers get more precise accounting of usage each month.
