Hoy Nueva York has stopped publishing its print edition and will move to an online-only publication. Just four of the newspaper's 20 staffers remain, reports AP.
Hoy will continue to
focus on local coverage, says publisher Rossana Rosado, who is CEO of El Diario/La Prensa in New York, part of ImpreMedia, which also publishes
La Opinion in Los Angeles. Similarly, Gatehouse
Media's
Kansas City Kansan will cease its print version and move to Web-only. The Kansas newspaper was founded in 1921. The company said the move will help advertisers get more precise
accounting of usage each month.
