The Washington Post is merging its newsrooms and today named two managing editors to oversee the changes the newspaper confronts. Elizabeth Spayd, who has worked in both the print and online
side of the newspaper, is the first woman in the paper's history to hold this post, reports
The Washington Post. She will handle the hard-news sections of the newspaper; Raju Narisetti, a
former deputy managing editor of
The Wall Street Journal, will oversee Style and other feature sections.
