Kavanagh is EVP (US) at Beamly, the social content network for TV with investors that include Comcast, NBCU & Viacom. Last April, she led the US through a full multi-platform rebrand that included the launch of its original editorial offering and suite of embeddable, interactive content experiences. Kavanagh’s content, marketing, social and mobile product expertise resulted in Beamly tripling its monthly active users and double its engagement KPIs in less than three months. Prior to joining Beamly, Kavanagh was SVP, Digital at NBCU’s Oxygen network. During her tenure, she successfully raised Oxygen Media’s Digital profile to be recognized as a leader in innovation within the TV and digital landscape. Kavanagh has been selected by CableFAX as one of the ‘Top Women in Cable’ and was featured on Multichannel News “40 Under 40” recognizing high performing executives in the cable industry. Most recently, Kavanagh was selected for CableFAX Magazine’s Digital Hot List 2015 recognizing execs shepherding innovation across social, content, tech and multiplatform strategy.
