When it comes to programmatic advertising, TV is the new kid on the block. NBCU, for instance, only recently announced it will make its ad slots available for programmatic buying. This is great news
for the industry, as it further validates that the automation of media buying is the way forward for advertising as a whole- that it makes sense not only for standard display units, but across all
connected platforms and devices. However, while programmatic TV sounds great in theory, we must be aware of several pitfalls that might inhibit quick adoption.
