About two out of five U.S. adults said they plan to watch or listen to some or all of next week’s debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump as it airs on several networks, according to survey results
from researcher CivicScience.
An additional 12% of people plan to follow the debate after it airs on June 27, which brings total intended viewership to more than half of the population. The remaining half is split between people who will follow coverage of the event in the news and those who don’t plan to follow the debate at all.
