New Game Hits The Road In An Old Bus

  • July 20, 2009
KanJam, an active sport game developed by the Buffalo, N.Y.-based eponymous company, is hitting the road to tout itself. The effort for the $40game, in which players use a Frisbee-esque disc to target cylinders, centers on a grassroots road show landing where Gen-whatevers hang out: beaches, parks and music concerts, and malls in the Atlantic region. The grassroots effort is on the road in a 1969 VW bus. The "Peace, Love and KanJam" tour is via East Aurora, N.Y.-based Cenergy.

For the tour, "Jambassadors" will live and travel on the restored vintage bus (informally dubbed "the Kanabus"), which has been decorated with a prominent peace sign and other decals, and boasts an industrial-grade public sound system with a Woodstock era music library. --Karl Greenberg
