For 75 days this summer, players can submit short essays explaining exactly what they'd do with that "Monopoly Makes It Real" cash. The 75 winners will be chosen by popular vote, so entrants will have to encourage friends and family to visit monopoly.com.
And in keeping with the "Community Chest" spirit of the game, the Pawtucket, R.I.-based toy company will donate $20,580 to S.O.S. Children's
Villages, a charity organization that builds houses for abandoned and at risk children. But fan also get to vote on that gift, choosing from such projects as day care, medical supplies, or seeds for
family farms.--Sarah Mahoney
