Katz 360 Sales, the online division of Katz Media Group, announced that it is adding a number of new partners for its online radio sales rep business, including Cumulus Media, Tribune/WGN and Pulse87NewYork.com.

Cumulus Media operates a number of Web-based properties, including local station Web sites that stream music, news and talk across 68 major markets. Tribune/WGN is a fixture of Chicago news and talk radio, while Pulse87New York ceased broadcasting as an audio-only TV channel carrying dance music and shifted to an online-only format in October of last year.

Katz 360 already counts a number of major online radio companies as partners, including Clear Channel (which owns Katz Media Group) as well as CBS Radio and Pandora. Katz 360 executive vice president Scott Taylor touted the sales rep firm's flexible targeting capabilities: "The Katz Online Audio Network allows advertisers to customize any campaign to their specific needs -- whether it's a national strategy, a regional plan or a specific geo-targeted spot campaign."

It's not clear whether any of these new ad rep deals are exclusive; last year Tribune Broadcasting, which owns WGN, also signed a deal with TargetSpot, another online radio ad network.

Internet radio is one of the few areas that holds out the prospect of substantial growth for the radio business in the next few years, with eMarketer forecasting $394 million in online radio ad revenues by 2011.
