Showtime Shuffles Executive Suite, Fogge Departs For NBC

Longtime Showtime marketing executive Len Fogge is the new president of marketing for NBC Entertainment.

Fogge replaces Adam Stotsky, who held the top NBC entertainment marketing job for three years. Fogge joins ex-Showtime programming chief Robert Greenblatt, who left the pay TV network earlier this year to become chairman of NBC Entertainment.

Fogge, who was executive vp of creative, marketing, research and digital media for Showtime Networks, had been with the network group since 1996. He started up the network's in-house marketing agency, The Red Group, and led Showtime's big marketing launches of series such as "Dexter," "Weeds," "The Big C," "The Tudors," "Californication," "Nurse Jackie," "Shameless," and "The Borgias."

For months, industry rumors had Fogge going to NBC Universal to take a senior marketing position there. All this sprung up after Greenblatt came to NBC. About a week ago, Greenblatt brought over another senior Showtime executive -- Richard Licata, appointed as executive vp of communications for NBC Entertainment.

Replacing Fogge will be two Showtime marketing executives -- Frank Pintauro and Donald Buckley -- who both carry the EVP title.

Pintauro, who was the network's senior vice president, executive creative director and general manager of Red Group, Showtime's in-house agency, will be executive vice president of Red Group.

Buckley is a recent addition to Showtime, coming to the network in April as senior vice president of digital services. Now Buckley will be executive vice president of program marketing and digital services -- overseeing the network's marketing divisions, including consumer and online marketing. In addition, Buckley will oversee media, consumer promotions and digital media.

Pintauro has garnered a number of awards for his marketing efforts, including having The Red Group named as Best In-House Agency of the year by PromaxBDA. Buckley has been one of the industry's digital marketing entertainment pioneers, working for more than 20 years at Warner Bros. and heading up interactive and digital marketing.

Both Pintauro and Buckley will also report to Matt Blank, chairman/CEO of Showtime Networks Inc.

Other changes: Sharon Allen has been promoted to senior vice president of program marketing and advertising, and reports to Buckley. She previously served as vice president of program marketing and advertising. George DeBolt remains as senior vice president of media and promotions, also reporting to Buckley.

Jamie Dienstag, vice president of creative and marketing operations and administration, will now have a dual reporting structure to Pintauro and Buckley.
