Kantar Media Names Carens President

Kantar Media has made some senior staffing changes.
George Carens becomes president of Kantar Media Intelligence North America, replacing Mark Nesbitt, who has left the company. Carens had been president of Kantar Media SRDS and Kantar Media Healthcare.
Kantar Media Intelligence unit offers up data and insights to advertisers, advertising agencies and media properties. Before coming to Kantar in 2008, Carens had a number of senior level positions at The Nielsen Company.
Steve Davis becomes president of Kantar Media SRDS, a service that provides media rates and availabilities for magazines, digital media, newspapers, television, direct marketing, out-of-home and radio.
Davis had been senior vice president of sales and client services at Kantar Media SRDS. He will also oversee Kantar Media Healthcare, which includes Kantar Media Professional Health and Kantar Media's MARS Consumer Healthcare.
David Hamric has been named general manager of Marx, a Kantar Media business. Marx provides clients with competitive consumer promotion information, including digital and census-level free standing insert coupon tracking information. He had been executive vice president of The Nielsen Co. until 2000 and previously was director of industry specific databases for Dun and Bradstreet.
