The New York Times has launched a call for entries to the first
Ad Lab Challenge, a competition asking ad pros and creative technologists
to create innovative new ad concepts. The competition will culminate in a one-hour event at Advertising Week, where 10 finalists will present their concepts to industry judges. The Advertising
Council has made one of its clients -- The U.S. Department of Energy's Energy Savers program -- available as a potential client for participants' campaigns.
