William Swayne, who began his media service career as at Carat in 2000, has been named president of parent Dentsu's global media practice as part of a restructuring of the agency holding company ongoing "One Dentsu" reorganization.

As part of this morning's announcement, Dentsu appointed two others to comparable corporate-level positions, naming Pete Stein global CXM practice president, and appointing Yasuharu Sasaki global Chief Creative Officer and head of its global creative practice.

“With the creation of our global practices, Dentsu is making a statement about what the future of integrated, end-to-end client solutions will look like," Jean Lin, group president-global practices at Dentsu said in a statement announcing the new structure.

As part of his new role, Swayne who previously served as Dentsu Aegis Network's Chief Client Officer, will work with Dentsu's global media brand presidents, including Carat's Fiona Lloyd and iProspect's Amanda Morrissey, as well as programmatic media management platform Amplifi.
