Mediahub Wins OURA Global Media Account

 

Smart ring marketer OURA, has named Mediahub its global media agency of record following a competitive review.  

Mediahub, part of IPG Mediabrands, will handle media planning, buying, and audience strategy across North America and Western Europe for the client. Initial media will run in the U.S., Canada, U.K., and Germany. Current ads are running on network TV through the end of the year on channels such as Bravo, CBS and ABC.

In the U.S. OURA spent $35 million on global media for the 12 months through June 2023, according to agency research firm COMvergence. Global spending was not immediately available. 

OURA is the agency’s latest Sillicon Valley client. Others include Pinterest, NerdWallet and Lyft. 

Mediahub will use its Scout consumer data panel to develop new audiences for OURA, and drive growth through creative media led by Mediahub’s Radical + Disruptive Lab. The account will be led by Mediahub’s Los Angeles office, with support from across the global network.        

This year OURA made their first foray into retail with their launch in Best Buy stores in the U.S. and Canada. The company, whose smart ring tracks sleep and other health metrics, has raised several hundred million dollars over the past couple of years and had a valuation of 2.55 billion in 2022.

OURA was founded in 2013 in Oulu, Finland.
