Ahmed Named Executive Creative Director, Mother In New York

Nedal Ahmed is now an executive creative director at Mother in New York. She joins Karla Mileski and Gustavo Dorietto as the office’s ECDs.

Previously, Ahmed worked at Google Creative Lab on the company's Pixel brand as a creative director. Prior to Google, Ahmed served as a creative director at Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo. While there, she led creative on the Nike, Tinder and IKEA accounts.

"Nedal has a global record of effective, awarded and highly crafted work, but also is a natural mentor with a real desire to help grow the next generation of talent."

Her notable work includes “The Talk” for P&G, which was created during her tenure at BBDO New York. “The Talk” created an opportunity to discuss prejudice in America.

On her new role at Mother, Ahmed said: “There’s a great sense of momentum and creative energy brewing at Mother New York. The mission is clear, the right people are in place and exciting clients are coming on board. I believe 2024 is going to be a great year for Mother, and I’m really excited to be part of this next chapter.”  

Since Davis-Lyon's appointment to chief creative officer in January,  seven new creatives have been hired. The agency also won The Wall Street Journal account a competitive pitch.

Mother has done work for Target, Amica and Dave & Busters. The independent agency has offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, Shanghai and Berlin.
