Anthony Venditti will take on the role immediately, the company said. He will lead all aspects of the marketing and sales functions at Noven Therapeutics (the company's specialty pharmaceutical business unit) and Novogyne Pharmaceuticals (the company's joint venture with Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation).

Venditti joins Noven with over 20 years of pharmaceutical marketing and sales experience. Most recently, he served Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation as vice president and head of Novartis' $1.3 billion U.S. Neuroscience division, where he was responsible for marketing, sales and new product operations for the central nervous system (CNS) portfolio in the U.S.

Previously, he served Novartis in a number of senior executive positions, with responsibility for marketing, sales, business analysis, strategic planning and new product commercialization, including key roles in the launch of several new products.
