    Vine is rolling out a personalized channel dubbed "For You," and filled with what it considers must-see posts from across the platform. “For You should help users get to know more about what's on Vine, similar to how Twitter's Moments, a curated tab of collected tweets, helps users understand what's going on in the world (or at least the world of Twitter),” The Verge reports.

    After apparently failing to respond to a criminal case, a Brazial court has ordered telecom companies to block WhatsApp for 48 hours. “The order was handed down from the 1st Criminal Court of São Bernardo do Campo in São Paulo, Brazil, due to an unnamed petitioner seeking an injunction against the company,” Buzzfeed reports, citing a story in Brazilian newspaper O Globo.
  • Twitter Expands Moments To UK
    Twitter is expanding Moments to the UK, this week. “The company debuted the feature in the U.S. back in October, and has since also rolled it out in Brazil,” TechCrunch notes. “So this is not the first international expansion for Moments, but given the size of the U.K. market for Twitter it’s an important next step as it tries to ramp up mainstream interest in its platform.”

The publication was reportedly just sold to News + Media Capital Group LLC, an unknown entity, for $140 million. “There's been speculation that Sheldon Adelson, the billionaire casino magnate and Republican donor, could be involved in the mystery purchase,” Huffington Post reports.

    Twitter is telling a number of users know that their accounts may have been targeted as part of a state-sponsored attack. “The attack is currently being investigated by Twitter,” Motherboard reports. “In their notice to users, Twitter said that the attack only impacted usernames, IP address, email addresses, and phone numbers if a phone number was associated with the account.”
